RSG Underwriting Managers Names Wuller Executive Vice President

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) announced the appointment of Miles Wuller as executive vice president of RSG Underwriting Managers, the managing underwriting division of Ryan Specialty Group that provides centralized governance, shared services, executive leadership and oversight to its specialty underwriting businesses.

Wuller joined RSG in 2010, originally as global treasurer leading capital activity and executing RSG’s mergers and acquisitions strategy across the specialty space. Most recently, he has been senior vice president of RSG Underwriting Managers, where he has led the integration of the underwriting group’s acquisitions and start-ups into one unified operating platform in addition to providing executive leadership for the underwriting companies.

The Wuller announcement comes after two key other appointments at RSG Underwriting Managers were made in September. Nick Cortezi was named chairman and chief executive officer and Matt Nichols was named president. Both Cortezi and Nichols joined RSG with the merger of All Risks early in September month.

Also, the company announced this summer that Mike Rice will retire at the end of the year. Rice joined RSG in 2010 as chairman and CEO of RSG Underwriting Managers. Rice has also served as a member of the board of directors of Ryan Specialty Group. Rice has been appointed senior chairman through year-end.
