AM Best Rating Services President and CEO to Deliver Innovation-Focused Presentation at Saint Joseph’s InsurTech Symposium

Oldwick //BestWire// - Matthew C. Mosher, president and chief executive officer of A.M. Best Rating Services, Inc., will deliver a presentation, titled, “Innovation and Disruption,” at the InsurTech Symposium, hosted by the Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.
The symposium, which takes place Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, will feature a series of panel discussions on how insurtech has moved from a concept to an operational solution, with a focus on the current intersection of insurance and technology. Mosher will share his views on technology, disruption and the future of the insurance industry, as well as the attributes and behavioral talents needed by emerging leaders to help facilitate necessary initiatives and make significant organizational impacts. With technology leading the evolution of insurance companies’ cultures and their ability to meet changing market needs, Mosher also will discuss how AM Best will consider an insurance company’s innovation efforts explicitly as part of its ratings process, outlined in the draft criteria procedure, titled, “Scoring and Assessing Innovation.” The presentation takes place at 3:15 p.m. (EST) at the Wolfington Teletorium in the university’s Mandeville Hall.
